Once again the bluefin were biting! We were looking for yellowfin, but found a pair of 70 inch bluefin instead. So we picked up and ran south a few miles to get closer to the yellowfin action, found a flat spot, and hooked 5 tuna. They turned out to be 75 to 80 pound bluefin. Set out again, and hooked a few yellowfin, ending the day with 10 yellowfin, a 70 inch bluefin, and 6 bluefin released. Great Fishing!

We got out of the boatyard in time to take Alan Lee and his crew out fishing on Thursday The bluefin were nibblin’ ! After a successful commercial season, Young Will knows just how to care for the catch to keep it fresh for your table.

Friday, Saturday and Monday the weather and the fish cooperated with us to make for some excellent Fall fishing. Give me a call to get in on some of this action while it lasts.

On Saturday, we went looking for wahoo and ended up getting 7 bites, catching 3 up to 40 pounds.

We caught 3 yellowfins to 60 pounds and 1 of 2 whites today.
