The weather was a little choppy this morning. Actually it was pretty damn rough! We made it out, dealt with the weather, and found a handful of tuna once the wind slacked off. Great weather for the rest of the week, hopefully the tuna will stick around!
It’s May, time for gaffers and tuna. The gaffers are here, but the tuna have been a little behind. Today there was a tuna bite later in the afternoon, hopefully they are here to stay for a while! We had a last minute cancellation for Thursday May 19, give us a call to get in on the action
It’s springtime and the weather has a tendency to change fairly quickly on the Outer Banks. After some great fishing on Monday we headed offshore yesterday with big expectations. 20 knots of SW wind, 75° ware with no tide, and squalls with gusts up to 40 knots made fishing challenging to say the least. We did find a few gaffers, and a couple boats had great catches before we called it a day

We caught our first white of the year on one of our new standup rods by Reel Easy. Can’t wait to get a coulee bigeyes on these rods! Mahi and a few tuna for the fleet today but the water is just outside the Point and fishing is getting ready to break wide open. Now is the time to book! Call Oregon Inlet 252-441-6301 to get in on the action!
