Yesterday we ran an overnight trip. We startes off fishing below the Point looking for wahoo and dolphin but only managed to catch one wahoo and a small blackfin. We found one school of blackfins, bonitos, and sharks and after making a few unsuccessful passes, I shot some video of the action. Tile fishing was excellent, we had 6 fish over 10 pounds. We drifted baits all night long, and although we only had one swordfish bite, we caught quite a few hammerhead sharks throughout the night.

We had an eventful day dodging squalls down to the southeast, but caught 4 out of 7 wahoos, a 35# king and a dolphin.
Its always a good day of fishing when you catch a Blue Marlin. We caught one about 225# and a couple of gaffers also. Unfortunately, its tough to shoot video when running the boat, and my footage was poor at best, I’ll have to wait for the next one.

How about that tuna for your first one?
Today started off a little on the rough side. There was some swell on the bar, and a northeast wind on top of that. We fished to the East of the inlet and found a school of dolphins and pilot whales that were holding some tuna. On the first pass, we hooked 4 tunas out of 8 bites. Then we circled around and caught one more out of 3 bites. We have got some dates open this week, and the fishing is showing signs of improvement, so give me a call and we’ll take you out.
We found 4 tunas, a wahoo, and the only silfish in the fleet today for our group. There were several bigeyes caught again today, but we spent our tuna time on the yellowfins. Maybe tomorrow.
We went up to the northeast again today and caught a few dolphin. We had a shot at one white marlin and one sail, but we ended up pulling the hook on the white, and the sail never fully cooperated. There were some bigeyes caught on the southern end of the fleet today, and we’ll be looking for them tomorrow.
We fished up to the northeast today and caught 3 out of 4 sailfish.
We had a beautiful slick calm day today and caught a 300# blue marlin and also 9 dolphin.
